And to know how to use it I was following this tutorial

Hi, I am trying to use TCFD for distributed computing on the high performance computing platform of my own department. This platform uses slurm as the job scheduling system. When I use the command: `srun -n 127 -N 10 -p normal redDyMSolver -rotatingVelocityFields -parallel`, the error shown in the picture occurs.

I am not sure if it is a problem with the high performance computing platform or with TCFD. Can anyone help me?

Or is there any other way for me to perform distributed computing with TCFD on the high performance computing platform?

I am trying to add heat transfer model in MPPICFoam, however my limited knowledge in advanced openFoam could not crush it. 

Mainly I am trying to replace kinematicCloud with ThermoCloud. 

I am trying to simulate heat transfer between continuous phase and discrete particles. Can someone please provide any insights on this?

What is the meaning of the option "Add volume source" in scalar (Multiphysics). Is the source volume linked to an inlet patch or can it be also inside the computation volume?

i have installed Cygwin in my computer to compile fortran code and it work fine. i want to first know if it is possible to run Openfoeam with Cygwin as it is a linux interface on window system and if it is possible, help to how we can do it.

Hi everyone,

We are looking to perform CFD calculations with OpenFoam of a large sea area (volume of around 1km x 1km x 200m) around a single offshore structure or ship (estimated size of around 100m – 200m, with small elements of around 0.3m).

 

We expect our cases to run in the range of 10 to 100 million cells, depending on the size of the structure. We think most cases will be at the lower end, so we want to size our hardware for it, but still be able to handle the larger ones even at the expense of much longer calculation times.

Thanks for your help! Any suggestions/questions are more than welcomed.
